Morning Routine

I stumbled upon a Youtube video, about the importance of having a morning routine that jump-starts your day. I’ve been beaten to death with this rave, so I thought I might give a try. The one that I’ve decided to imitate, looks like this:

  1. First, as you get up, recall your dreams
  2. Make bed
  3. Have a glass of water + probiotics, vitamins and other supplements
  4. Meditate (5-20 min)
  5. Wake up your body via intense 2 min workout
  6. Cold Shower
  7. Tea + MCT Oil
  8. Journal (which I am doing)
  9. Create To-do list (3 things you want to accomplish), To-feel list (How I want to feel today), and To-be list (whom do I want to be)
  10. Read for 20-30 minutes’
  11. Eat Breakfast

I am noticing this is quite a long list, and may require significant time to do all. I think this is perfect for me at the moment, as I have sufficient time in the morning, but will have to simplify it when I have more professional duties.

I’ve also signed up for Kwik Learning, a memorization and quick thinking training. I’ve never had any urgent need for such training, and I doubt the effectiveness of it. But I signed up just to see if it would provide me with any new insight or information. After all, who doesn’t like life-hacks that work?

I will update on my thoughts as I try them. Today is my day 1, and I am pretty excited. Hopefully, it really makes me productive and make me Bezos money.
